Not only is that traditionally inaccurate, but it says one thing about God’s social location, who God cares about, who God stands with and relates to.

Without them, I don’t think I'd have even known that I get to have my own perspective on scripture.

That mentioned, I do assume there’s an additional layer that I’m including by bringing in the femininity of God. But unfortunately, those conversations have been owned by the academy. Womanist theology is basically just Black women dwelling their lives. Mujerista theology is admittedly simply Latinx ladies living their lives. What’s really highly effective about divine feminine theology is that it's inherently grounded within the woods and in conversations. A lot of liberation theology occurs exterior the academy.
